Except: I want to remove the passkey but I can't. Passwords app is showing <code>Passkeys: 0</code>. Now this is fun. The behavior is reproducible with a fresh test user: login via passkey: yay Show passkey in passwords app: nay So no I am stuck with a passkey which is out of my control but which can be used to log into my AppleID. In my book that is a serious concern, but Apple doesn't seem to care. They called back and told me they don't have any additional info. Then I nerver heard back. I also filed this via Feedback and never heard back. Called them again today and they were not helpful. So what now? Migrating an Apple ID is possible but if you then delete the old Apple ID your tranferred purchases are no longer transferred. All this feels really bad. This mess drove me to begin using <a href="https://fedia.social/tags/Linux" rel="nofollow noopener" target="_blank">#Linux</a> Mint in my daily work and I am really liking it.
