Mountain Mindset

Looking back through 2024 pictures, realizing I had to break up with some old paths in order to get closer with new bigger opportunities. Reflecting from a couple of favorite mountain experiences this past year in Canada & Oregon. It was a pretty strange year for me personally working through some adversity, had some pretty low moments and hit some high notes too. Overall leaving 2024 better off than how it started. Feeling really optimistic & creating space for positivity ahead. Despite some cultural/political challenges unfolding, sensing this as an opportunity to lead, be a better person and navigate these stormy times more effectively by connecting with more like minded people. Hear hear, to living better in the new year!

It feels like a bit of a positive step back in time. I like progress, but I loved MSN Messenger more than Meta #messenger .

I also trusted #Google more when their motto was 'Don't be evil' and it made me think when they dropped that.

But I'm #optimistic I think decentralised social networks will gradually become more popular as people get tired of being manipluated with algorithm-aggregated feeds.

Anyway, I'm happy to be here and curious to explore the #fediverse .
