If they were serious about this, the UK would block all sites that platform the likes of Andrew "Pee Pee" Tate and other dangerous abuse enablers

There are mechanisms to block sites over copyright etc so why not use them

One kid asked when my birthday is, and I replied: "why don't you try to figure that out?"

Turns out to be pretty difficult for them. I have no social media presence apart from this account, I have no blog, am no longer active on any forums (and used aliases when I was, aliases that they have zero chance of guessing), etc.

If you wanted to bring down Mastodon, by which I mean cripple its architecture so that it ceased to function, how would you do it?

I ask not because I have any interest in doing this but because I hope that the people who are making it work have asked this question and put measures in place before someone who is thinking about it does it.
