B'Tselem בצלם : On 19 Jan. 2025, Israeli soldiers entered the Palestinian village of Sabastiya near Nablus & fired several shots in the air. Some teens gathered behind a wall & aimed toy lasers at them. When 14-year-old Ahmad Jazar peeked out with his toy, the soldiers shot and killed him. Then they left.
Since the war in Gaza began, the military has increased its deliberate “friction” with residents of the West Bank, including raids on communities with no clear operational goal.
