Erased connections, broken down trains without AC on, rude personell that miscommunicated and lied, DB failing to book a hotel even though its required by law, having to turn back mid-journey, and me making a round trip of 10 for a distance that would take less than 2 and reattempting to travel home tomorrow. #ICE79 #Bahnzeit
What a cursed day to ride the train.Originally i wanted to take the European Sleeper from Berlin to Bxl tonight,but booking took too long so it became too pricey.
Then I booked the ICE connection via Cologne,not paying attention to the fact that it came with 90 a min wait in Köln.

ICE 17 (Bxl - Cologne) was working perfectly today, but ICE 653 has been cancelled, replaced, and is now going to Wuppertal via Düsseldorf due to a signal outtage. #nowträvelling

Now for the fun part: 2h in a #diningcar is time well spend, especially if it is so spacious and well lit (at least it was earlier) as this one.

We are #traininghomeforchristmas, and our #ICE left from station 7 at #Bruxellesmidi #Brusselzuid, very unusual (outside the zone for HSL that are platforms 1-6).
I guess they are having too many problems today, so its good that the ICE entrance model is flexible enough.
Speaking of problems, our ICE from Cologne has been cancelled, we reserved seats on the earlier one 1059 via Ddorf and Münster instead, barely getting it wheb changing #iceicebaby #nowträvelling
