#NobaraLinux

#introductions

Hi! I'm remaking this a little over a year after initially making it lol.

My name is Chai (She/They), I'm a 20-something non-binary transfem from Montreal. I'm currently enrolled as a computer science college student. I'm interested in software preservation, FOSS and rust. I'm also a linux user (currently using
#nobaralinux on my desktop and #archlinux on my ThinkPad but looking into trying #nixos). I like tabletop RPGs, especially Shadowrun, World of Darkness and Pathfinder.

Favorite video games are Fallout New Vegas, Skyrim, Baldur's Gate (all of them but especially the first) and Cyberpunk 2077.

Also I'm autistic and have ADHD!

I'm like... some flavor of individualist anarchist or something like that.

Does anyone have a pointer or RTFM for me on where to find more information on #bluetooth profiles on #fedora / #nobaralinux?

I have a bluetooth headset that connects to my opensuse laptop and is recognized as a headset, i.e. not just headphones. I can select its microphone in the sound settings.

On Nobara Linux the same headset only connects as headphones, it seems no microphone is recognized.

I found this, which is pretty generic (neverthe less I'll play around with the commands)

@thelinuxEXP Very interested to see the survey results!

I do wish that you had a question about secondary or multiple computers. As a hobbyist, I have 2 Linux-exclusive laptops, 1 laptop and 1 desktop that dual-boot Linux and macOS, 1 Linux-only desktop, and 3 Raspberry Pi SBCs.

My current distro of choice is @ultramarine, with my hybrid graphics laptop running #NobaraLinux, but for friends and family I strongly recommend #LinuxMint.
