Both the games but also the console itself. Switch 1 was a huge success and now they are milking their fan-base. </p><p>They are even going back to the LCD screen with bezel instead of succeeding the Switch OLED model that had such a phantastic screen/body ratio. They know that people will still buy it at release since this console has other major selling points. This allows them to come up with a Switch2 OLED model at a later point in time, once sales are stagnating 🙄</p><p>I'm in a way disappointed but also not really surprised. PvE, like Monster Hunter - maybe. But PvP will inevitably ruin the fun (for me) and I'm very skeptical about multiplayer PvP with voice chat on a Nintendo console.</p><p>"Developed for the upcoming Nintendo Switch 2; 'THE DUSKBLOODS’ is a PvPvE title with online multiplayer at its core, where up to 8 players vie for supremacy among themselves and against challenging foes. Infrapink (he/his/him)<p>Thoughts on the Switch 2 Direct.</p><p>Mario Kart World looks like an open-world kart racing game. Yeah, that looks amazing.</p><p>Damn, that is a LOT of coputrons packed into a tiny volume. Irritating that it won't work with normal µSD cards.</p><p>Nintendo finally introduced voice chat in a very Nintendo way. This is going to ruin Splatoon 4, right?</p><p>Also a big focus on mouse controls. Duncan<p>Fully expected Deltarune to be here but it's nice to see indies getting prime billing (see also Hades II earlier on and Enter the Gungeon 2).</p><p>Also in this third party section - Civilization VII has mouse controls! Duncan<p>NSO Gamecube games - not unexpected but it was a good system and it's a strong starting line-up. Very welcome!</p><p>F-Zero GX, Fire Emblem and Chibi-Robo are particularly good inclusions. Duncan<p>A third Hyrule Warriors game covering The Imprisoning War in the past setting of Tears of the Kingdom (Zelda being Zelda there are probably multiple instances of the The Imprisoning War). No Link visible, interestingly.</p><p>As someone who's pretty excited to see this part of the storyline I'm pumped.
