I am an applied mathematician working in <a href="https://fediscience.org/tags/neuroscience" class="mention hashtag" rel="nofollow noopener" target="_blank">#<span>neuroscience</span></a>! <br>I am currently doing a postdoc @UniversityPompeuFabra in Barcelona to study disorders of <a href="https://fediscience.org/tags/consciouness" class="mention hashtag" rel="nofollow noopener" target="_blank">#<span>consciouness</span></a> (i.e. patients waking up from <a href="https://fediscience.org/tags/coma" class="mention hashtag" rel="nofollow noopener" target="_blank">#<span>coma</span></a> but not fully recovering) using whole-brain models. </p><p>I am also interested in neuron-glia interactions and in particular in the role of <a href="https://fediscience.org/tags/astrocytes" class="mention hashtag" rel="nofollow noopener" target="_blank">#<span>astrocytes</span></a> in the regulation <a href="https://fediscience.org/tags/neuronal" class="mention hashtag" rel="nofollow noopener" target="_blank">#<span>neuronal</span></a> activity such as <a href="https://fediscience.org/tags/bursting" class="mention hashtag" rel="nofollow noopener" target="_blank">#<span>bursting</span></a> and <a href="https://fediscience.org/tags/oscillatory" class="mention hashtag" rel="nofollow noopener" target="_blank">#<span>oscillatory</span></a> patterns generation.</p>
