Manchmal hat es doch Vorteile, der einzige Retro-Spinner im Netz zu sein, denn dadurch konnte ich mir heut Abend diese deutsche 720K Diskettenfassung von Windows 3.0 für nur 10,00€ ersteigern. Wenn die Datenträger jetzt noch lesbar sind, wäre das cool! Hab' davon bisher nur 5 1/4 Zoll Floppies in der Sammlung. Gespanntes Abwarten...

@JennyFluff I just found another TNG After Dark Edition. This CD version has a slightly newer version than your floppy disks, with After Dark control panel v3.06.

My tech-savvy dad, 72 yo, disconnected, too. No windows in his house. Everything runs #Linux. That includes his #gaming PC, his media PC in the living room, both his and my mom's laptops. My brother's laptop uses #Ubuntu without him knowing because I got tired of having to service it. My sister's entire family is all-in on #Apple. My nieces and nephews have playstation. We all started with #MSDOS in the 80s. For first time in about 38 years, my entire family is #microsoft-free. Good riddance.

@sardaukar @JennyFluff Uhh, wow. I just found a StarTrek TOS version of AfterDark on eBay and couldn't resist. It also was pretty cheap. I will dump & share this as soon as it arrives.
I finally made the effort and completed my collection of classic After Dark screensavers. I found suitable versions for DOS, Windows 3.0, 3.1 and WfW 3.11.
The toasters are still flying in 2025!
Going through the cupboards, found this one, with I think all the stuff inside: manual, 3.5” diskettes, some other papers.
Does anybody want this one? It’s in Espoo, Finland but post sometimes works. It’s in a pretty good condition, externally, I have no way of checking the disks anymore.
It’s the ’Microprose Formula One Grand Prix’, by Geoff Crammond, for MS-DOS, released in 1992.
Yeah, kind of niche, but maybe somebody would know somebody interested.
