Yeah no kidding. I think the most enraging thing about trying to talk to doctors about EBV and reactivated EBV is that they insist that there’s no point in testing for these things because everybody has it. I didn’t get EBV until I was 31 years old, so no everybody doesn’t have it until you actually infect them with it.

They do the same thing with covid. “No point in preventing it, everyone had had it.” No we fucking have not. And it’s extra weird to see sciencey people insist that us #novids are in denial and we all had asymptomatic cases already. Not us “already sick” people. I would know, if I talk on the phone too long I crash for 24-72 hours yet these idiots think I would get a whole entire airborne AIDS infection and not know it?

Black and white. Inside the Tate Modern art gallery at Bankside by the River Thames in London, is a large sculpture, perhaps fifteen feet square, of the word "LOVE", with the "LO" on top and the "VE" below, the "O" being slanted at 45 degrees to the right. The original is by Robert Indiana. Through a wide multi panel window behind it visitors to the gallery can be seen.

In a Cottage Garden

Black and white. Four people, one man and three women, are standing or walking in the front garden of Duck Island Cottage in St James's Park. It is a Swiss chalet-style cottage with two small buildings connected by a covered walkway that crosses a bridge, with tiled roofs, decorated gables, several small spires, and a tall white chimney stack topped with what looks like a small bird house. Seen in colour, it looks somewhat like a gingerbread cottage. It is often topped off by a grey heron enjoying the view over the lake behind the cottage.

Black and white. In Brick Lane Market, a woman and a man, on the far right of the picture, are walking to the left from behind one of the stalls, past a wall with three pieces of street art. The piece on the left and right are almost unrecognisable but probably represent monsters of some kind. The one in the middle resembles a bald-headed man with a long droopy pointed nose that reaches down past a mouth with only two teeth. His eyes both point outwards. The effect is of a a person who is exasperated by being photobombed while having his picture taken by me.

I thought this scene would work best in #BlackAndWhite due to simplicity and alternating stripes. There's something mysterious and tranquil about this scene that I like.
