Long COVID is a collection of symptoms you might experience after your initial, acute Covid-19 infection.
Long COVID is any medical condition linked to a Covid-19 infection, that goes on for 3 months or longer.

It can happen whether you had a mild or severe case of Covid-19.

There are over 200 symptoms currently associated with long COVID. At the mask bloc we will be posting about how to recognize long COVID and offering our support and resources.
The most common symptoms are: fatigue, shortness of breath, loss of or altered sense of smell or taste, brain fog, chronic cough, headaches, difficulty sleeping, depression, anxiety, chest pain, heart palpitations, and diarrhea.

Most research finds that 30% of COVID patients develop Long COVID. So every time you get infected, you will have a 30% chance of chronic symptoms.

This is a novel condition so researchers are still working hard to find a cure.
Since there is no cure, the only line of defense we have is to mitigate against the original virus. Check out our other posts for more in-depth information!
