Researchers planning to do #SystematicReviews must now plan to filter out the #JunkScience. That's difficult, time-consuming, error-prone, and demoralizing. It causes some researchers to drop their plans and forces others to move more slowly.

Thought provoking articles on #UnansweredQuestionsInResearchAssessment - particularly taken by the call to be 'open about experiments that don't work’ and for approaches to be ‘as aligned as possible, but as diverse as necessary’.

Also a need to acknowledge the trade-off between extra time spent on assessment that increases nuance and accuracy and other uses for that time. Everyone is pretty busy so that time could otherwise be used for more research.
