Hardcore nostalgia in ‘Altered Beast’.
Also, playing one-handed is hard. Really need to buy a capture setup at some point.

I have been fortunate enough to collect two amazing bits of rare, unusual and near-mint #Sega #MegaDrive / #MegaCD hardware this week. The first is the "Team Player", which let you use up to four controllers on a single system.
Of the six positions on that slide switch, A B C and D picked which of the four controllers would be passed through to the console, so you could flip seamlessly between a 3- or 6-button controller, or a mouse.
Mouse? Yeah, hang on - I'll get to that.

[G-ZERO] — F-Zero inspired SNES Game looks impressive on the Genesis/Sega Mega Drive.
YouTuber and developer [Gasega68k] has released an early work in progress version of 'G-ZERO' for the Sega Mega Drive. A game that is inspired by the iconic Super Nintendo Entertainment System title of 'F-Zero'.
Nice review @irgndsondepp
I'm also not into Beat 'em ups but I heard so much promising about Streets of Rage 2 that I definitely should give it a try in the nearer future.
Maybe it also convinces me of this genre.
Back in 1995 I had no chance owning Sega Saturn Most folks I knew, who owned gaming consoles, pretty much jumped from
Mega Drive (Genesis) to Sony PlayStation 1
- there hasn't been many (if any)
units around in Lithuania back then
Yet Sega Saturn is awesome console with CD tray (for game discs) and cartridge slot (mainly used to extend memory). Joystics still feels top: inheriting shape and layout from Mega Drive

Sonic & Knuckles has a lock-on feature that allows players to open the hatch on top of the cartridge and insert a second one.
When Sonic 3 is inserted, the player can play through both games as one, the originally intended Sonic 3 & Knuckles.
This features several changes to the games, such as slightly altered level layouts and the ability to play through both titles as Knuckles or Tails.

This will be a thread about Sonic & Knuckles for Sega Mega Drive/Genesis and its cartridge's Lock On feature.
There is much to say about the game's background and the possibilities of the Lock On feature in regard to other games, especially the console's Sonic titles.

Which of these two 16 bit versions of Disney's Aladdin do you consider the better one?
The Mega Drive/Genesis or SNES game?
