🚨⚠️ URGENT
Upon the risk of a new attack against our boat the #Conscience, our boat is right now trying to enter Maltese waters and is being stopped by the Maltese Coast Guard.

We urge the Maltese Government to:
1) Provide a SAFE and UNHINDERED PASSAGE for the Conscience either in or out Maltese territorial waters
2) GUARANTEE A SAFE and UNHINDERED PASSAGE for the Freedom Flotilla delegations in Malta to be able to access our boat and provide all the assistance the humanitarian mission needs right now!

Cleaner shipping fuel is now mandatory as the Mediterranean becomes a low-emissions zone.

Ships in the Mediterranean must now use cleaner fuel with lower sulphur content, as the sea on Thursday becomes the world’s fifth low-emissions zone.

Reducing sulphur emissions is expected to improve air and water quality and benefit human and environmental health.

Each year, many of us dream about Mediterranean summer escapes— blue waters, sun-soaked beaches, gentle waves. But beneath those glittering surfaces, a storm is brewing. Quite literally.

Covering around 70% of our planet, the ocean is Earth’s great heat bank, absorbing so far around 90% of the excess heat generated by human-caused greenhouse gas emissions. But this protective buffer has come at a price.

They are sailing* while people in #gaza are dying. So don't tell me anything about 'protests' anymore. These so called anti-government groups are part of the propaganda, to present a pseudo-democratic public image, which is important for #us, #uk and #eu #media outlets - but it's not convicing, morally spoken.
