j_bertolotti<p>There are a number of nice new features in <a href="https://mathstodon.xyz/tags/Mathematica" class="mention hashtag" rel="nofollow noopener" target="_blank">#<span>Mathematica</span></a> 14.3, but I hate that ListFitPlot just produces a curve that goes nicely through the points without any insight of justification. It is not going to do as much damage as the fit function in Excel (that led a lot of clueless users to do a linear regression with data that do NOT follow a linear trend), but we are in the same ballpark.<br><a href="https://reference.wolfram.com/language/ref/ListFitPlot.html" rel="nofollow noopener" translate="no" target="_blank"><span class="invisible">https://</span><span class="ellipsis">reference.wolfram.com/language</span><span class="invisible">/ref/ListFitPlot.html</span></a></p>

j_bertolotti<p>For the people at Wikimedia Commons: I used to be User:Berto, but I lost my password, so I now I am User:Clodovendro. I make a number of scientific visualizations using <a href="https://mathstodon.xyz/tags/Mathematica" class="mention hashtag" rel="nofollow noopener" target="_blank">#<span>Mathematica</span></a>, and I release them into the <a href="https://mathstodon.xyz/tags/PublicDomain" class="mention hashtag" rel="nofollow noopener" target="_blank">#<span>PublicDomain</span></a> (and upload the on Commons so everyone can use them).</p>
