Julien Deswaef :tw:<p>I thought I’d share a little update on my continuous use of <a href="https://toot.thoughtworks.com/tags/logseq" class="mention hashtag" rel="nofollow noopener" target="_blank">#<span>logseq</span></a> as a personal knowledge management tool. </p><p>I recently discovered the individual page properties feature which helps organize my notes a little better.</p><p>I still like the simplicity of the tool and the fact that all notes are stored in <a href="https://toot.thoughtworks.com/tags/markdown" class="mention hashtag" rel="nofollow noopener" target="_blank">#<span>markdown</span></a>. </p><p>Visual graph, after a year long use, is getting better. Still pretty to look at. Maybe useful too?</p>
Nimona RESISTS<p><span class="h-card" translate="no"><a href="https://beige.party/@LoganFive" class="u-url mention" rel="nofollow noopener" target="_blank">@<span>LoganFive</span></a></span> I recently went through a lot of different note apps because I wanted to get off of notion. <a href="https://mstdn.social/tags/Logseq" class="mention hashtag" rel="nofollow noopener" target="_blank">#<span>Logseq</span></a> is great if you like Roam Research. I also looked into <a href="https://mstdn.social/tags/Joplin" class="mention hashtag" rel="nofollow noopener" target="_blank">#<span>Joplin</span></a> and <a href="https://mstdn.social/tags/Anytype" class="mention hashtag" rel="nofollow noopener" target="_blank">#<span>Anytype</span></a>. But I don't like having all the notes in one database. <a href="https://mstdn.social/tags/Obsidian" class="mention hashtag" rel="nofollow noopener" target="_blank">#<span>Obsidian</span></a> keeps notes as individual markdown files in a folder. That fits what I want. It's also very extensible with plugins.</p>
rmstyle<p><span class="h-card" translate="no"><a href="https://beige.party/@LoganFive" class="u-url mention" rel="nofollow noopener" target="_blank">@<span>LoganFive</span></a></span> <br>There is a lot of alternatives out there. The more conservative choice would be <a href="https://mastodon.online/tags/joplin" class="mention hashtag" rel="nofollow noopener" target="_blank">#<span>joplin</span></a> <br>If you need linking but like filemanagement <a href="https://mastodon.online/tags/obsidian" class="mention hashtag" rel="nofollow noopener" target="_blank">#<span>obsidian</span></a> is the gold standard. It has a lot of plugins that make it very versatile.<br>If you love linking and don't need files <a href="https://mastodon.online/tags/logseq" class="mention hashtag" rel="nofollow noopener" target="_blank">#<span>logseq</span></a> might be a good choice.<br>And if notion ever spoke to you <a href="https://mastodon.online/tags/Anytype" class="mention hashtag" rel="nofollow noopener" target="_blank">#<span>Anytype</span></a> might be what you're looking for.</p>
zakatak<p><span class="h-card" translate="no"><a href="https://beige.party/@LoganFive" class="u-url mention" rel="nofollow noopener" target="_blank">@<span>LoganFive</span></a></span> I’ve landed on <a href="https://kzoo.to/tags/logseq" class="mention hashtag" rel="nofollow noopener" target="_blank">#<span>logseq</span></a> for now, it works okay with my brain so long as I use tags. I suppose the best praise I can give is that I am still using it maybe a year after finding it. </p><p>Also, the pages are all text files in a directory. No proprietary malarkey. </p><p>It’s not a drop in replacement for Notes though, but that had an extra appeal for me.</p>
Nikhil 🐧<p><a href="https://social.linux.pizza/tags/logseq" class="mention hashtag" rel="nofollow noopener" target="_blank">#<span>logseq</span></a></p><p>I find it sometimes funny how my logseq notes are a wild mix in both German and English because I'm bilingual.</p><p>Thats where the `::alias` feature helps me a lot: German and English pages get auto-merged (after setting it up individually) </p><p>For example if I write down a German thought about India, it will be tagged as [[Indien]] but will be linked to the English page which is named India 😊 nothing ever gets lost, though I'm mixing two languages! 🙌🏽</p><p>Logseq works so well with how I work and think 🫶🏽 Structure emerges around me, the way it should be.</p>

Minoru<p>A year ago I switched from paper-based GTD system to Logseq. Since then, I developed a love-hate relationship with the program. Here are the details for those who is thinking of trying GTD with Logseq, too: <a href="https://blog.tty8.org/posts/2025-10-14-getting-things-done-with-logseq.html" rel="nofollow noopener" translate="no" target="_blank"><span class="invisible">https://</span><span class="ellipsis">blog.tty8.org/posts/2025-10-14</span><span class="invisible">-getting-things-done-with-logseq.html</span></a></p><p><a href="https://functional.cafe/tags/Logseq" class="mention hashtag" rel="nofollow noopener" target="_blank">#<span>Logseq</span></a> <a href="https://functional.cafe/tags/GTD" class="mention hashtag" rel="nofollow noopener" target="_blank">#<span>GTD</span></a></p>
