Linux is sooo easy… I just want a #metronome with a volume control that works.

The metronome pre-installed with #UbuntuStudio resets its volume set in pavucontrol all the time. Super annoying when playing software synthesizers.

Short search engine use reveals kmetronome, which I install, but it doesn't work because I don't have a GeneralMIDI synthesizer. I find gtick. This is what the command line says:

Command 'gtick' not found, but can be installed with:
sudo apt install gtick

noton@atreju:~ > sudo apt install gtick
Reading package lists... Done
Building dependency tree... Done
Reading state information... Done
E: Unable to locate package gtick

Same for gtklick, a frontend for klick. No, I do not want to use a command line meotrome.

Also #Hydrogen Drum Machine does not have a volume control for its metronome.

Giving up now. Actually giving up making music for now, since this nerd shit blasted me out of my mood.
