jbz<p>That's quite a beast for humble linux gamers.</p><p>「 The biggest selling point of the TUXEDO Stellaris 16 Gen7 laptop is its 1000 nits HDR (High Dynamic Range) mini-LED matte display with 2560×1600 resolution, 100% sRGB, 16:10 aspect ratio, and extremely fast 300 Hz refresh rates. The new display is paired with up to an NVIDIA GeForce RTX 5090 24GB GDDR7 graphics card 」</p><p><a href="https://9to5linux.com/tuxedo-stellaris-16-gen7-linux-laptop-unveiled-with-128-gb-ram-hdr-display" rel="nofollow noopener" translate="no" target="_blank"><span class="invisible">https://</span><span class="ellipsis">9to5linux.com/tuxedo-stellaris</span><span class="invisible">-16-gen7-linux-laptop-unveiled-with-128-gb-ram-hdr-display</span></a></p><p><a href="https://indieweb.social/tags/tuxedo" class="mention hashtag" rel="nofollow noopener" target="_blank">#<span>tuxedo</span></a> <a href="https://indieweb.social/tags/linux" class="mention hashtag" rel="nofollow noopener" target="_blank">#<span>linux</span></a> <a href="https://indieweb.social/tags/linuxhardware" class="mention hashtag" rel="nofollow noopener" target="_blank">#<span>linuxhardware</span></a></p>

Asta [AMP]<p><span>Heeeeeeey linux cats!<br><br>I would like to learn how to do kernel work </span><i>and</i> closer to the grain hardware work. Anyone know of any reasonably-priced device (wifi card? PCI-E card? even if it's a laptop, so long as it's relatively inexpensive for the whole shebang) that oh my god no one gives a shit about enough to write a driver but it would be super cool if it <i>did</i><span> work?<br><br>If you know of any listing of anything of this type or anything, that would be really helpful. I dunno what my price point is but given that it's education to increase my skillset for employability (and to possibly help stave off more compute lockdown in the future) I do have </span><i>some</i><span> budget for it. I'm not really a hardware kitten so I'm not quite sure where to begin to look for this kind of info.<br><br>Boosts very much appreciated!<br><br></span><a href="https://fire.asta.lgbt/tags/linux" rel="nofollow noopener" target="_blank">#linux</a> <a href="https://fire.asta.lgbt/tags/hardwareHacking" rel="nofollow noopener" target="_blank">#hardwareHacking</a> <a href="https://fire.asta.lgbt/tags/linuxDriver" rel="nofollow noopener" target="_blank">#linuxDriver</a> <a href="https://fire.asta.lgbt/tags/linuxDevelopment" rel="nofollow noopener" target="_blank">#linuxDevelopment</a> <a href="https://fire.asta.lgbt/tags/linuxHardware" rel="nofollow noopener" target="_blank">#linuxHardware</a> <a href="https://fire.asta.lgbt/tags/tech" rel="nofollow noopener" target="_blank">#tech</a> <a href="https://fire.asta.lgbt/tags/techPosting" rel="nofollow noopener" target="_blank">#techPosting</a></p>

Too bad it did not continue in newer versions of Plasma. Well yeah netbooks are not so popular anymore. Anyways. i still use my HP Mini 110 from time to time and I still love Plasma Netbook on it :) It later got merged with Plasma Active into Plasma Mobile we have today. Maybe I should try to get that one running on this little lappy :)</p><p><a href="https://mstdn.io/tags/KDE" class="mention hashtag" rel="nofollow noopener" target="_blank">#<span>KDE</span></a> <a href="https://mstdn.io/tags/KDEPlasma" class="mention hashtag" rel="nofollow noopener" target="_blank">#<span>KDEPlasma</span></a> <a href="https://mstdn.io/tags/PlasmaNetbook" class="mention hashtag" rel="nofollow noopener" target="_blank">#<span>PlasmaNetbook</span></a> <a href="https://mstdn.io/tags/netbook" class="mention hashtag" rel="nofollow noopener" target="_blank">#<span>netbook</span></a> <a href="https://mstdn.io/tags/netbooks" class="mention hashtag" rel="nofollow noopener" target="_blank">#<span>netbooks</span></a> <a href="https://mstdn.io/tags/Linux" class="mention hashtag" rel="nofollow noopener" target="_blank">#<span>Linux</span></a> <a href="https://mstdn.io/tags/LinuxHardware" class="mention hashtag" rel="nofollow noopener" target="_blank">#<span>LinuxHardware</span></a></p>
