In that setup the T-beam node appears to switch itself on in response to the T-bat being sufficiently charged. When T-beam battery runs out it needs a manual restart (bad for place &amp; forget), but it can restart if gets clean 5V USB. GPS not after 15 mins. The tbeam has a 16850 3400 mAh Li-Ion 3.7 V battery. The panel &amp; tbeam are behind a velux roof window angled at the sky. The sun is shining well today, no clouds.
