Loki Gwynbleidd 😷🏴🎨Comme beaucoup de monde je savais que la population de lapins en France a été anéantie par la myxomatose, une maladie contagieuse et mortelle qui a sévi à partir des années 1950. Ce que je ne savais pas c'est que la maladie a été introduite exprès par un médecin, le Dr Armand-Delille pour tuer les lapins de son domaine et que ça a trop bien marché. À cause de lui et des agriculteurs et forestiers qui ont fait des traffics d'animaux malades, 90 à 98% des lapins français ont été éradiqués. Et la maladie a fait des dégâts énormes dans l'Europe et une partie de l'Afrique du Nord. Le pire ? Le gars a été remercié par le ministère de l'agriculture et apparemment n'a jamais été vraiment inquiété. Pire encore le gouvernement français s'est servi de "ses expériences" pour "gérer" la population de lapins dans les îles Kergelen. À noter que le gars a réussi un ecocide total là où des chercheurs un peu partout dans le monde ont échoué. Les premières recherches remontent à Louis Pasteur en 1887 et pas mal de choses ont été tentées en Australie (évidemment). Je ne comprends même pas comment le gars n'est pas plus connu, pas présenté comme un immonde personnage dans les sphères écolo (à l'école c'est mort puisque ça allait dans l'intérêt des pouvoirs en place). Il a pratiquement effacé une espèce du territoire et a influencé les politiques de "gestion" des "espèces nuisibles" à la fois sur les continents et dans les milieux insulaires. On souffre encore des politiques écologiques et politiques de ses actes.
