@soatok I didn't know you when you published that one, but it's most excellent. I don't understand why it's on the bottom of your views.

The benevolence/kindness part against evil is a kind of super power. Bad people just don't get it to a point... And they don't get it even more why people will side with you for that.

(Then, I wanted to express something about feeling out of place in the world, and my brain was weaving threads between that post, your "doesn't matter" one, the recent most excellent post by @grimalkina social.treehouse.systems/@grim or in French when @uichelorraine describes her family or point out the common malovelence around her, or when @dysfun expressed lack of understanding when I explained how I try to manage my company and the values I try to put in that, or @RuthMalan all encompassing empathy, but it goes nowhere so the unknotting will be left as an exercise for the readers.
Perhaps it's just: you're all very good, kind, uncommon people, and life is complicated and I hope you will find ways to make it works for you)

What kindness did you see today?

At the venue for Bernadette Russell’s book launch, I noticed a ‘pay it forward’ board where people have paid for coffees and other things from the café to leave for someone on a budget to make use of in the future.

This was really apt because Bernadette’s book is full of examples of kindness like this.

“In Bristol we were driving up a steep narrow road. In front of us were two cyclists and a guy on a hire scooter. The hill was a bit much for the scooter so one of the cyclists helped him up the hill with a gentle hand on his back. It must of been hard work for the cyclist.”

This is a lovely example of everyday kindness shared by @MelSedds right here on Mastodon - big thanks for allowing us to share it further.

Even outside of <waves at all the things going on in our country>, you never know what people are dealing with.

It takes •••so little energy••• to ask how someone’s day is going, to hold the door for somebody, to help someone put that heavy bag of cat litter in their car and push away their shopping cart.

Be kind to one another! It’s free!

“I gave up my seat in the waiting area of the theatre for someone who wanted to sit with her friend.”

What a great example of a small act of everyday kindness, thank you @Uselessgeneration for sending it in.

You can send in any act of kindness to us, however small or large, through our social media or our website. We always want more stories to share to help everyone see just how much kindness is happening in the world.

My local pharmacist explained that due to a shortage of the drug on my prescription she didn't have any.She suggested I ring around the other pharmacies in town to see if they had any.
I must have looked dismayed as she then rang her manager and they are ordering my medication at 4 times the amount they can claim from the NHS.
Post breast cancer treatment patients are prescribed this daily for five years.
I am grateful for the #kindness this professional showed me .
