Besides makefiles ;). But why do people still tell you that gitlab and github cicd are the best. Imho <a href="https://functional.cafe/tags/jenkins" class="mention hashtag" rel="nofollow noopener noreferrer" target="_blank">#<span>jenkins</span></a> was and is feature complete and even if not you can easily extend it. It proofs itself all the time even with the "cloud". Over and out.</p>

Probierts aus! Und wir reden noch gar nicht von Gruppen, das geht nämlich nicht, jedenfalls nicht in der freien Nextcloud-Version (korrigiert mich, wenn ich falsch liege)</p><p>Und damit zu <a href="https://friendica.sokoll.com/search?tag=Azure" class="mention hashtag" rel="nofollow noopener noreferrer" target="_blank">#<span>Azure</span></a>: Dessen Stärke ist gar nicht so sehr das Teilen von Dateien, wie es NC und Dropbox und… können, nein, dessen Stärke ist <a href="https://friendica.sokoll.com/search?tag=entra" class="mention hashtag" rel="nofollow noopener noreferrer" target="_blank">#<span>entra</span></a>, also das Identity Management.<br>Du kannst halt andere Organisationen, die auch bei Azure sind, schnell (aber nicht unbedingt unkompliziert) zum Beispiel an Dein <a href="https://friendica.sokoll.com/search?tag=Jenkins" class="mention hashtag" rel="nofollow noopener noreferrer" target="_blank">#<span>Jenkins</span></a> anbinden.<br>Ja, geht auch mit <a href="https://friendica.sokoll.com/search?tag=keycloak" class="mention hashtag" rel="nofollow noopener noreferrer" target="_blank">#<span>keycloak</span></a>. We didn't have any autobuilders set up when I started working here, and Jenkins was the easiest to set up.</p><p>It is painfully ignorant of branches in VCSes, which means I have to set up a new builder for every single branch I want to build from, but I've learned to live with it.</p><p>Haven't found a good alternative yet, though. Anything that cannot be installed on-premises is not an option.</p>

We do use <a href="https://mastodon.online/tags/Jenkins" class="mention hashtag" rel="nofollow noopener noreferrer" target="_blank">#<span>Jenkins</span></a> more than anything else and Jenkins has the great advantage to run on _your_ platform, with all the settings you need. If you update it regularly, it makes no problems. </p><p>IMHO: Tools like Jenkins have to solve a problem, not to look nice; I think, that is something most people mix together and get confused when things are not looking “nice”.</p><p>So, to be short: I'd prefer Jenkins over all the rest.</p><p>Info: using it in a <a href="https://mastodon.online/tags/PHP" class="mention hashtag" rel="nofollow noopener noreferrer" target="_blank">#<span>PHP</span></a> test/build pipeline.</p>
