@jannem ever since having the doubtful experience of being the only "alien" on a US domestic flight I did not return to the US.
This year, I expect the #ISC to slightly profit from the current turmoil. Some of the folks who have to choose between ISC and SC will prefer the ISC (in Germany). On the other hand, I had to learn, that some colleagues from the US cannot attend the ISC.
In the end, no one will really profit from this mess. The only hope is that the mess will manifest soon enough for voters to make a difference.
Do not want to sound too gloomy: Have fun in Osaka! Perhaps we will read a few impressions here? Would be nice!
