If anybody knows or finds out where Jon Schwarz winds up since The #Intercept has been taken over by dullards please let me know. A case study in what commercial pressures do to a newsroom, you can watch the reporting dilute into Wapo/CNN middling banality in real time.

Hopefully Jon doesn't start a substack like Klipperstein and Scahill, who I would joyously give my money to if they'd set up shops across the street from the Nazi bar instead of exclusively inside one.

Was wondering what has been going on over there lately, lot more herd coverage:

"The #Intercept now has one poor copy editor for the entire website, it employs two staff attorneys, as well as a legal fellow, a chief strategy officer, a chief digital officer, a business coordinator, a senior director of development and an associate director of development, a product manager, a senior director of operations, a chief of staff, and a chief operating officer."
