Ignore the jank, that’s just beta stuff.</p><p>This also doesn’t work with a trackpad right now, so I’m using my finger on-screen to flick windows to the left and right.</p><p>Note: It’s a bunch of extra taps to get the 2nd app, full-screen it, swipe it over to one side, then get the original app. Also note how fiddly it is to take one of the apps full screen again. People will *love* trying to tap microscopic stoplight buttons.”</p><p>You just can’t. David Chartier<p>Ok</p><p>Apparently the only way to be able to use apps with any kind of window mode in <a href="https://toot.cafe/tags/iPadOS26" class="mention hashtag" rel="nofollow noopener" target="_blank">#<span>iPadOS26</span></a> is to enable Stage Manager. I’ve never liked Stage Manager, the previous iteration was a giant waste of screen space. But fine.</p><p>So what is going on here? Why does Ivory hang off to the side when I minimize Inoreader? Why doesn’t it reappear when I switch to a different full-screen app?
