padraig<p>I turned on screen calling in <a href="https://det.social/tags/iOS26" class="mention hashtag" rel="nofollow noopener" target="_blank">#<span>iOS26</span></a> for unknown numbers, mostly out of curiosity. The thing is: I basically never get spam calls. What I do get is calls from people who I haven't saved, but do want to talk to (if I haven't saved the number it's usually not a private contact). Screen calling works very well to confuse everyone. So I have turned it back off for now.</p>
