Hey folks,

Decided it was time for a fresh alias, so here’s my
#introduction. I’m a creatively driven fellow with a passion for privacy, cybersecurity, Linux, and free and open source software. I enjoy gaming, creative writing, and technology—the latter of which inspired me to pursue cybersecurity and system administration.

I embarked on this journey around the start of the pandemic, when the sudden surplus of free time gave me the opportunity to try Manjaro, a distribution of Linux based on Arch. With the release of the Steam Deck, I moved over to NixOS, which I’ve been using ever since while studying cybersecurity in higher education.

The majority of my posts will be set to follower-only, so feel free to throw a follow my way if anything of mine has piqued your curiosity at all.

Look forward to interacting with you all in the future! ^^

Well, the operating system itself isn't fully done yet, but at least I finished the logo for the #WHY2025 badge operating system.

Introducing #BadgeVMS, an actual Virtual Memory System for the #hacker camp!

I hope you don't like POSIX too much. There's no POSIX where we're going. (Or at least not a lot of POSIX)

Oh shite, I was wrong.

Chris has a #CommodorePET at home and a thumping big hard drive. Wait for it, Chris is writing #software in Commodore #BASIC, an “expert system” for ‘House Planning’. Expected time to completion?

Three months to write the code; Three months to populate the (database) system to make it useful.

Hack Chris, Hack

It's the ultimate encryption implementation! Did I write it myself? Yes. Should one write their own crypto? Probably not. Am I going to use it? Well...

This was certainly a very fun exercise, and I learned a lot. A twenty year old project dusted off and modernized. Enjoy!

Mark LovelessUltimate Encryption Solution — Mark LovelessI wrote the ultimate encryption implementation, wow it is so good! However as far as usability for the average person (or even ultra nerd) leaves a lot to be desired. A WHOLE lot.

Oh boi! Looks like on the August my schedule is big :dragnaww:

1) Speech about #Emacs in SaintP #hackspace (0x08.in/)

2) Speech about #Xserver (configurarion and hidden gems) in the same hackspace

3) Speech about my heavily modified #Thinkpad X220 in SaintP area (Roschino town) in #Undefined #hacker festival (undefined.chaosconstructions.r). It will be streamed in the Internet and if I'll be able to obtain a resulting video — I'll upload it to my PeerTube.

As a hacker, the fact that AI can generate code that is insecure and that people actually run is a reason not to use AI. But also, as a hacker, the fact that AI can generate code that is insecure makes me want to drive as deep into AI as possible.

AI is here and isn’t going away. I’m not dismissing it simply because it has a few elements or implications I don’t like. I’m delving in neck deep because as a character that hangs out on the edges of society, it is damn good to know the strengths and weaknesses that surround me at all times. I can take advantage of those strengths, and certainly can take advantage of those weaknesses as well.
