Matthew :bi_flat:Is there something I need to consider when I am curious about getting PC that runs Linux? I'm more asking people who have experince using Linux as both Graphics designers and gamers. What I mean is what shortcoming it has and whether it would affect my experince as somebody who wants to do Graphics Design and also do gaming. I hadn't tried the latest release of GIMP but toyed around one the beta build when they added non-destructive layer effect and felt more useable to me as someone who used Phitoshop a lot but (this is coming from someone who still new to GIMP) not sure how to make color space as CMYK for printing. Maybe I hadn't look enough but printing RBG colour isn't very ideal. I also watched an video about video-editing on Linux and how very hit-and-miss it is. I want to eventually produce YouTube videos which I know Kdenlive would do for basic videoediting. I'm mainly unsure as I am still figuring out what skills I wanna get better at and I know if I wanna go down videoediting as career, I would had to use certain software which will drive any Linux purist mad. That is the one which I'm questioning if Linux would be for me and if I should just stick to Windows dispite how shady Mircosoft is or buy Mac-mini for video-editing but again it's an another shady company. Gaming wise, it should be least problematic for me. I check ProtonDB website and saw majority my games should work with few tweaks from there. I have heard of Lutris and will need to read mire about it if at least playing Windows game I brought from GOG and seeing what I need to do to get it up and running.
