This Is My Glasgow<p>One of the Cochrane Street entrances to Glasgow City Chambers. Built in the 1880s, it was designed by William Young. The two figures in the spandrels above the arch seen to represent Literature (on the left reading a book) and Music (on the right playing a lyre). All in all, not bad for a side entrance!</p><p><a href="https://mastodon.scot/tags/architecture" class="mention hashtag" rel="nofollow noopener noreferrer" target="_blank">#<span>architecture</span></a> <a href="https://mastodon.scot/tags/glasgow" class="mention hashtag" rel="nofollow noopener noreferrer" target="_blank">#<span>glasgow</span></a> <a href="https://mastodon.scot/tags/glasgowcitychambers" class="mention hashtag" rel="nofollow noopener noreferrer" target="_blank">#<span>glasgowcitychambers</span></a> <a href="https://mastodon.scot/tags/arch" class="mention hashtag" rel="nofollow noopener noreferrer" target="_blank">#<span>arch</span></a> <a href="https://mastodon.scot/tags/architecturephotography" class="mention hashtag" rel="nofollow noopener noreferrer" target="_blank">#<span>architecturephotography</span></a> <a href="https://mastodon.scot/tags/doorway" class="mention hashtag" rel="nofollow noopener noreferrer" target="_blank">#<span>doorway</span></a></p>
