DinoDadReviews<p>Perhaps my all-time favorite book on <a href="https://sauropods.win/tags/DeepTime" class="mention hashtag" rel="nofollow noopener" target="_blank">#<span>DeepTime</span></a>, however, is Jason Chin's <a href="https://sauropods.win/tags/GrandCanyon" class="mention hashtag" rel="nofollow noopener" target="_blank">#<span>GrandCanyon</span></a>. This beautifully illustrated book celebrates both the modern <a href="https://sauropods.win/tags/nationalpark" class="mention hashtag" rel="nofollow noopener" target="_blank">#<span>nationalpark</span></a> and the fantastic <a href="https://sauropods.win/tags/geologic" class="mention hashtag" rel="nofollow noopener" target="_blank">#<span>geologic</span></a> record it contains. Following a father &amp; daughter on a hike up from the canyon floor, they lead us through the progressive <a href="https://sauropods.win/tags/biomes" class="mention hashtag" rel="nofollow noopener" target="_blank">#<span>biomes</span></a>, <a href="https://sauropods.win/tags/habitats" class="mention hashtag" rel="nofollow noopener" target="_blank">#<span>habitats</span></a>, and <a href="https://sauropods.win/tags/strata" class="mention hashtag" rel="nofollow noopener" target="_blank">#<span>strata</span></a> of the canyon. I love the gimmick of the occasional <a href="https://sauropods.win/tags/fossils" class="mention hashtag" rel="nofollow noopener" target="_blank">#<span>fossils</span></a> acting as LITERAL windows into the past! Truly inspired stuff. 🏜️ 🏞️ <br><a href="https://dinodadreviews.com/2018/08/11/grand-canyon-jason-chin/" rel="nofollow noopener" translate="no" target="_blank"><span class="invisible">https://</span><span class="ellipsis">dinodadreviews.com/2018/08/11/</span><span class="invisible">grand-canyon-jason-chin/</span></a></p>
DinoDadReviews<p>What exactly happened during these vast stretches of <a href="https://sauropods.win/tags/geologic" class="mention hashtag" rel="nofollow noopener" target="_blank">#<span>geologic</span></a> time, though? That's the question that <a href="https://sauropods.win/tags/AbbyHoward" class="mention hashtag" rel="nofollow noopener" target="_blank">#<span>AbbyHoward</span></a> seeks to answer in her <a href="https://sauropods.win/tags/EarthBeforeUs" class="mention hashtag" rel="nofollow noopener" target="_blank">#<span>EarthBeforeUs</span></a> <a href="https://sauropods.win/tags/comic" class="mention hashtag" rel="nofollow noopener" target="_blank">#<span>comic</span></a> series. The three <a href="https://sauropods.win/tags/graphicnovels" class="mention hashtag" rel="nofollow noopener" target="_blank">#<span>graphicnovels</span></a> take readers through the three <a href="https://sauropods.win/tags/eras" class="mention hashtag" rel="nofollow noopener" target="_blank">#<span>eras</span></a> of the <a href="https://sauropods.win/tags/Phanerozoic" class="mention hashtag" rel="nofollow noopener" target="_blank">#<span>Phanerozoic</span></a> <a href="https://sauropods.win/tags/Eon" class="mention hashtag" rel="nofollow noopener" target="_blank">#<span>Eon</span></a>, though slightly out of order. <a href="https://sauropods.win/tags/DinosaurEmpire" class="mention hashtag" rel="nofollow noopener" target="_blank">#<span>DinosaurEmpire</span></a> is a better hook for a first book, after all! <a href="https://sauropods.win/tags/OceanRenegades" class="mention hashtag" rel="nofollow noopener" target="_blank">#<span>OceanRenegades</span></a> &amp; <a href="https://sauropods.win/tags/MammalTakeover" class="mention hashtag" rel="nofollow noopener" target="_blank">#<span>MammalTakeover</span></a> are just as fascinating, though, so be sure to read them all! <br>These are a <a href="https://sauropods.win/tags/DinoDadReviews" class="mention hashtag" rel="nofollow noopener" target="_blank">#<span>DinoDadReviews</span></a> fav.<br><a href="https://dinodadreviews.com/2019/09/19/mammal-takeover-earth-before-us-3/" rel="nofollow noopener" translate="no" target="_blank"><span class="invisible">https://</span><span class="ellipsis">dinodadreviews.com/2019/09/19/</span><span class="invisible">mammal-takeover-earth-before-us-3/</span></a></p>
