Navajo Jesse Williams contacted them, and brought three members of the expedition to some fossil bones he had discovered in 1940.</p><p>In 1954, paleontologist Samuel P. Welles, described and named this dinosaur as a new species of Megalosaurus, M. wetherilli.</p><p>In 1970, Welles coined the name Dilophosaurus but didn't formally rename the fossils until 1984.</p>

While the new Orca exhibit at the Royal Alberta Museum focuses on their current status, it also explores the palaeontology of toothed whales.
