While @Leighton was driving, we both witnessed from #Melbourne a fireball meteor on January 27. Due to being on the road, we didn't have good enough direction info to make a report. I recall I looked at my watch and it was 2057 local time (AEDT), during local twilight. But apparently enough people had info to report and AMS eventually posted it. Slowly making progress on my game. It’s called Oops, All Fireballs. About a somewhat silly wizard ridding local towns of sorcerers and goblins and such. With fireballs!

I doubt it’ll be very good since it’s my first game. But I’m hopeful someone else will enjoy it — when I make changes, I usually play through it and I usually actually have fun with it!

Just saw a fireball in the sky in Iceland. Looking west from just north of Reykjavík, high in the sky, moving north. Not bright enough to illuminate the landscape, but much brighter and longer lasting than a normal shooting star. I saw it for maybe 2-3 seconds, though I may not have caught it all. Est. local time 20:38

#Fireball is a bit all over the place. #DeepPurple were rushed to make an album right before their US tour, that's why it lacks a bit of a common theme. Heck, with Anyone's Daughter it even has a country song on it.

Regardless, this is still a great album!
Easy 4/5

Also: this was the first album #KingDiamond bought as a kid.

The UK version of #Fireball had "Demon's Eye" as track no. 3. The US version had "Strange Kind of Woman".

Why? #DeepPurple recorded Demon's Eye last, however they had an upcoming US tour and didn't manage to put the song on the album in time. So they chose a song they already had and put it on the US version.

I guess this also explains why the US version was released before the UK version.
