Black and White, large fantasy map. Depicts one large land mass, Kingdoms of Aetherium in the middle, and beginning of another to the left called The Fjordlands. All of the kindoms are pointed with white, flowing banners with hand written texts. The map depicts tall mountains like the Dragon's Teeth, a large lake, Shadow Fen, large masses of forests where each tree is drawn one-by-one, cities, one active volcano, and somewhat 3D coastline that rises and lowers basd on the elevation. In the three seas are two monsters - a siren, and tentacles of a Kraken. Each detail is perfectly designed for the client's tastes and story needs. In the bottom right is a stylized compass with a flowing banner fabric behind it.

There are multiple types of vegetation from icy tundra, to jungle, and desert. Each tree and forest is hand-drawn one by one. The style is inspired by Tolkien.

Black and white, digitally hand-drawn portal fantasy map. It depicts a coastal sea of Caldera, and country of Lexanard bordering Payettek and Doyemere. In the sea dwells a tentacle monster right next to the neat compass in the right lower corner. Lexanard depicts places like Ashfort, a withered village that has been ravaged many a time, and Silverstone mine - both in the left upper corner of the country. Below them are the Flower Fields full of flora that is hungry to eat people, and a portal the begins the story of the book. Below that at the coast is city of Laeford, with a port below it with a lighthouse leading the way. Behing the lighthouse are clark meadows, village of Candle Cove, and a little lake that connects to the sea by a Raging River that has dangerous crocodiles living in it. Above Candle Cove is Zackick, a town made of temporary dwellings, like tents. Above that is the capital city of Lexanard, known as Redadore. The city is grand with great dome-like towers and grand bridges and walkways. On the middle right of Lexanard, right by the border before Doyemere is Saincaster, a quaint little town with a small lake right next to it. All of the main places are connected with various type of roads from mainroads, to common roads and smaller trails. The map looks cozy, with individually drawn trees of various kinds - leafy greens and firs dot the landscape. The titlework is also hand drawn and inspired by the author's description of their world.

Back to the magical land of Nicea, I’m working on the line work for the jungles to the East, an excuse to draw lots of dinosaurs in the dense rainforest. It’s for dungeons and dragons so the land need to invite exploration. The jungle is criss crossed by rivers, with tall rock formations and mysterious ziggurats. I finished this map last month and I am very happy how it turned out. Its a A3 print size, so this is much smaller than the original.
It is hand painted (no stamps) but I used some textures that came with Clip Studio Paint. Every one of the markers is a symbol that shows a bit of what makes the location special. Like fish and ships for locations with harbour. Two rings around the marker show a capital, stars edges on a marker symbolize a city state.

I started reading "The Lord of The Rings" to Little One. We had finished The Hobbit many years ago, and I started reading The Lord of the Rings, and I thought "I think she'll be able to deal with this", and so far we have a lot of fun (we made it to Bree so far). And we also accompanied it with drawing a map of the Shire to better understand Frodo's journey, which we then added to the map.
