ℒӱḏɩę :blahaj:<p>The <a href="https://tech.lgbt/tags/USA" class="mention hashtag" rel="nofollow noopener noreferrer" target="_blank">#<span>USA</span></a> is a sitting duck. When our <a href="https://tech.lgbt/tags/infrastructure" class="mention hashtag" rel="nofollow noopener noreferrer" target="_blank">#<span>infrastructure</span></a> is hacked and all hell breaks loose and there's no <a href="https://tech.lgbt/tags/internet" class="mention hashtag" rel="nofollow noopener noreferrer" target="_blank">#<span>internet</span></a>, my <a href="https://tech.lgbt/tags/IBM" class="mention hashtag" rel="nofollow noopener noreferrer" target="_blank">#<span>IBM</span></a> XT will fire up the same way it did 40 years ago, as that 10 MB MFM hard drive cranks up. And I can safely transfer files to friends and family with the trusty 5-1/4 <a href="https://tech.lgbt/tags/floppy" class="mention hashtag" rel="nofollow noopener noreferrer" target="_blank">#<span>floppy</span></a> <a href="https://tech.lgbt/tags/diskettes" class="mention hashtag" rel="nofollow noopener noreferrer" target="_blank">#<span>diskettes</span></a> that also still work. And it will be powered by <a href="https://tech.lgbt/tags/solar" class="mention hashtag" rel="nofollow noopener noreferrer" target="_blank">#<span>solar</span></a> power. Now that's <a href="https://tech.lgbt/tags/self" class="mention hashtag" rel="nofollow noopener noreferrer" target="_blank">#<span>self</span></a>-sufficiency. Also I am stoned.</p>

MicroBlog Castellano<p>In 1994-95, most of my PC <a href="https://paquita.masto.host/tags/diskettes" class="mention hashtag" rel="nofollow noopener noreferrer" target="_blank">#<span>diskettes</span></a> were formatted with <a href="https://paquita.masto.host/tags/FDFormat" class="mention hashtag" rel="nofollow noopener noreferrer" target="_blank">#<span>FDFormat</span></a>, a program that allowed to put 1.7Mb of information on 1.44Mb diskettes. Yes, that 300kb counted. And you just needed a 1.5kb driver.</p><p>Unluckily, those diskettes couldn't be read by Win95 (which was distributed in 1.6Mb diskettes), and can't be read on linux, unless someone writes the right cylinder-sector mapping.<br>So I'm using <a href="https://paquita.masto.host/tags/Freedos" class="mention hashtag" rel="nofollow noopener noreferrer" target="_blank">#<span>Freedos</span></a> and the USBDOS (usb 1.0) driver to put he info into usb sticks.<br>Does anyone know better ways?</p>
