Seeing quite a few pictures popping up just now of eye-catching crops are 'Phacelia', which farmers are increasingly growing as a soil improvement crop.
Bees love it, helping to contribute to both the health of the local ecosystem and crop pollination.
I'm not surprised it has become a topic of conversation, remembering the first time I came across it growing in a field near Penzance, West Cornwall three years ago.
I thought it looked just stunning and after asking a 'local' was informed of its name and why it was being grown.
I learn that it is a plant native to North and South America and generally not considered invasive.
Although not regarded as poisonous, I read that Phacelia does contain skin irritants that can cause an allergic reaction, although having said that, I've handled it without any issues.

This is bit of a hail Mary post, but do any of my followers live near Falmouth?
My charming 19 year old son, Ted is doing an impromptu walk along the coast, on his tod.
He can’t find a cheap room for the night and wants to go to the Eden Project and St Austell Brewery.
Anyone have room at the inn?

Not that I'm going this year, but the Royal Cornwall Show starts on Thursday and runs until the end of Saturday. And it's a big agricultural, business and crafts and rural life show... Mostly held outside (for those who don't know) AND the forecast is not looking ideal for it.
Looking like a lot of rain over night with some during the day, making things a bit interesting underfoot for sure.
