Bernd Korz<p>Enabled Apple's "Intelligence"/AI feature, used it for an hour, then turned it off. That was two weeks ago, and since then, my system has been a mess. Starting <a href="https://rheinneckar.social/tags/Pages" class="mention hashtag" rel="nofollow noopener noreferrer" target="_blank">#<span>Pages</span></a> or <a href="https://rheinneckar.social/tags/TextEdit" class="mention hashtag" rel="nofollow noopener noreferrer" target="_blank">#<span>TextEdit</span></a> (and many other apps) caused <a href="https://rheinneckar.social/tags/corespotlightd" class="mention hashtag" rel="nofollow noopener noreferrer" target="_blank">#<span>corespotlightd</span></a> to spike to 180% CPU usage, freezing everything. Finally fixed it by deleting a folder in ~/Library... now it's running smoothly again. <span class="h-card" translate="no"><a href="https://x-activitypub-bridge.deno.dev/users/380749300" class="u-url mention" rel="nofollow noopener noreferrer" target="_blank">@<span>Apple</span></a></span>, what's going on?! 🤔</p>
