This is a mistake that sends data to google.

Engagement on Mastodon is by hashtags. Make new hashtags, find well.used ones.
After typing a # Mastodon will the you the number of users for the hashtag.
For example if you type - #usp - Mastodon will say 1.9k under highlight meaning almost two thousand recent posts with rhe US politics hashtag "#uspoli"
Zooming in to see small stuff on Mastodon is a glitchy experience.

You can zoom a post with an image by pinch, but clicked images cannot be zoomed.
Also zoomed posts (unclicked) are terribly unstable and will scroll wildly without warning.
I am deeply grateful for mastodon code and instances, this is communication on continued development of a wonderful platform.

I suggested earlier post that coders write an app for browsers that shows the price of Trumps Tariff Taxes on all rhe things.
Many wrote back saying it would be too hard because constantly changing Trump babble and policy changes.
Here is another path, have the app check prices for the product on other nations Amazon's and subtract the difference in real.time. and

Offering translation in #Mastodon
should be EASY, if not automatic. Offering translation should be opt out, not "what are the obscure steps I need to compete so that translation is offered"

My observation since 2022 when #ChristopherHohn an influential shareholder decided to *speak out* about “reducing its head count and paying (hi-tech) workers less”. [1]
This is the decade where extreme (cost) pressure will be forced on White collar workers by the introduction of AI.

You can set your language of posting to be the sane as your interface. That will turn on Translate to your readers.
Mastodon should make a button, in settings "OFFER Translations" so its easy, explicit and not obfuscated.
