Douglas<p>Does anyone have a <a href="https://mastodon.social/tags/cockroach" class="mention hashtag" rel="nofollow noopener noreferrer" target="_blank">#<span>cockroach</span></a> trap recommendation? We've got indoor cats so I don't want to put bait out. It would be better for it to be a sticky trap or similar. </p><p>Now I'm wondering if we've got cockroaches that we've never seen any evidence of. </p><p>That could explain that high blood reading?</p>

Global Museum<p>ROACH CLIPPINGS<br>“They first hitched rides in soldiers’ bread baskets to the Middle East 1,200 years ago — much earlier than previously thought … They reached Europe, where they would get their name, only 270 years ago, probably aboard European colonial ships. Global trade in the 19th and 20th centuries allowed the scavengers to infiltrate most of the world’s nooks and crannies, and indoor plumbing and heating enticed them to stay.”</p><p><a href="https://www.nytimes.com/2024/05/20/science/cockroach-evolution-cities.html?unlocked_article_code=1.tk0.Y69D.TO6WAKXLQVpC&amp;amp;smid=url-share" rel="nofollow noopener noreferrer" translate="no" target="_blank"><span class="invisible">https://www.</span><span class="ellipsis">nytimes.com/2024/05/20/science</span><span class="invisible">/cockroach-evolution-cities.html?unlocked_article_code=1.tk0.Y69D.TO6WAKXLQVpC&amp;amp;smid=url-share</span></a> </p><p><a href="https://mastodon.online/tags/cockroach" class="mention hashtag" rel="nofollow noopener noreferrer" target="_blank">#<span>cockroach</span></a></p>
