but German acquaintances visiting said they found the lack of ambiance created by Antwerp (other than fireworks) quite disappointing. Apparently you also couldn‘t really hear Antwerp on TV.

I think today is the first time in my life I‘m watching #boxingday football.
It clashes with the 2nd Christmas day in Germany, and as we usually spend the 25th travelling to meet both families it usually never fits.
