Christoph Schmees<p>Cisco Firewall Risiko 10 von 10!</p><p>Habe ich gerade so schön über Citrix gelästert, will Cisco auch nicht zurückstehen. Heute im Angebot: Ein Flicken gegen eine Sicherheitslücke, der das Risiko 10 von 10 zugeordnet wurde! Die Sicherheitslücke CVE-2025-20265 steckt in einer fehlerhaften Implementierung des RADIUS Protokolls. Wieder einmal werden Eingabe-Daten unzureichend geprüft. Das erlaubt im schlimmsten Fall einem entfernten anonymen Angreifer, beliebigen Code auf dem Geräte auszuführen (RCE). Christoph Schmees<p>Citrix Netscaler schon wieder sehr hohes Risiko</p><p>Die Produktlinie NetScaler begann als Marke der US-Firma Citrix. Inzwischen sind beides getrennte Marken unter dem Dach einer Firma mit Namen Cloud Software Group (CSG). - Aktuell gibt es Warnungen vor drei Sicherheitslücken in mehreren NetScaler Produkten. Die schlimmste der Sicherheitslücken, CVE 2025-5777, wird mit einem Risiko von 9,3 (von 10) eingestuft. Oder sollte man sagen Hintertür? Die Sicherheitslücke beruht nämlich darauf, dass Eingaben nicht ausreichend geprüft werden ("insufficient input validation"). Über die katastrophalen Mängel in Sicherheit und Datenschutz im digitalen Gesundheitswesen schreibe ich schon lange (z.B. hier), auch über ihre Auswirkungen: Ausfälle im Klinikbetrieb, Datenlecks.<br>Statt die Ursache der Krankheit anzugehen, veranstaltet die Kassenärztliche Bundesvereinigung (KBV) ab Juli eine Ablenkungsaktion. Journaling and journaling are two separate distinctly separate manners of keeping file systems in Sync.</p><p>When microsoft talks about journaling in NTFS you should never, ever think about the robust journaling system that Ext4 has</p><p>In comparison EXT4 journaling is a god while en NTFS journaling is not even an ant</p><p>I have EXT4 file systems connected to an extremely unstable machine. This thing crashes to green screens more than 64 times a day.</p><p>{It's a Gigabyte Mini PC in case you're interested never buy those. The machine came with overheating errors from the beginning. The factory installed a fan for the APU which is not even suitable for a GPU that was made a decade ago}</p><p>I've not even lost one bit of data on those EXT4 file systems.</p><p>Those NTFS file systems with journaling? I lost all of them. Dendrobatus Azureus<p>I love reading Books. I love reading physical books, you know the ones that you hold in your hand. I love Foliate, which I have encountered on one of my Open Source operating system distributions.</p><p>Since I love reading physical books it was normal and natural for me that Foliate had a regular light theme because paper is white to light yellow.</p><p>The light theme was chosen even though my desktop had a dark team, also logical.</p><p>Now I was fortunate enough to get a free set of fantastic books which are accessible through a DRM walled system by Amazon. Dendrobatus Azureus<p>When was the last time you've properly used the camera on your Android?</p><p>No I'm not talking about the camera which points at the scenery, I'm talking about the camera which points straight to your face 24 hours a day every time you pick your Android up.</p><p>¿Well?
