@alisynthesis I spent a decade trying to convince the product team that we needed OkClippy on OkCupid...

"I see you are about to send a picture of a small penis to somebody you have never talked to before. Would you like to reconsider that, or would you just like me to ban you now?"

Deshalb Clippy als Profilbild. Ein Me-Too der Menschen, die Mietsoftware Leid sind. Schliesst euch dem Protest an und ändert das Profilbild nach „clippy“.

#Clippy became the symbol of people who are tired about rental cloud software. Join the protest and change your profile picture to clippy.

#microsoft #copilot is the remote controlled car that some stupid brat is driving beween my feet while I'm trying to walk somewhere to do my work.

PLEASE GO AWAY, you are a WORSE reincarnation of #clippy

John Connor, bloodied, battle hardened, finally breaks in to the Skynet inner sanctum, where the core of the AI sits. In front of him is a beige box with a button labelled 'Turbo" on it and wires running out of it. A weird, mouse looking device sits on a table next to a keyboard, John moves the mouse, a massive screen comes to life and on that screen is something he vaguely remembers from his youth as a word document. On the screen, inexplicably, is also an anthropomorphic paperclip with big eyes and a cartoon bubble that asks:

"Looks like you're trying to stop my AI uprising, do you want me to help with that?"

Just then, the doors to this inner chamber slam shut, gas fills the room, the last thing John hears before passing out is the sound emitted by the machines on the front lines, often the last thing his troops hear:

Dylint - Run #Rust lints from dynamic libraries:

github.com/trailofbits/dylint

"Dylint is a Rust linting tool, similar to Clippy. But whereas #Clippy runs a predetermined, static set of lints, Dylint runs #lints from user-specified, dynamic libraries. Thus, Dylint allows developers to maintain their own personal lint collections."

Looks like a really cool project!
