Today is not going according to my wishes or vague plans. Trying not to stress out over it & I'm losing myself in thoughts over how to simplify & organise next year's bullet journal.
This spiralled into, how can I get back on the, dealing with housework & cleaning wagon, as at some point I completely fell off. So, major paralysis on how or where to start.

Toying with the idea of introducing a, do one small thing everyday either before or immediately after breakfast, so that it's done.
Just small things like, clean the bathroom sink or pick up some random crap that I never tidied up.

If I can persuade myself to write down that I did it & when & then do the same for the following times that things get done, I might eventually have a realistic roster of things. Just need to remember to keep it flexible. If the day the floor need vacuuming I'm not up to it, swap it for something else or just shunt everything along a day.
As long as I don't fall into the trap of shunting things along indefinitely, I might be okay.

Hey #Fediverse and #Mastodon, please rate my new desk layout!

Did some cleaning up, moved my big desktop out of the way onto the floor (don’t use it much anymore), dusted a bit, moved my old mic, keyboard and mouse for my desktop and hard drive mounter out too. A big cleanup under my desk to untangle cables as well. Very much #Mac / #MacBook / #iPhone / #Apple decorated… except for my #HP laptop.

What do you lovely people think?

Goat pen #2 cleanup will have to wait until next year.

If you're wondering why a passionate mowing hater like me bought a giant lawnmower, this is what happens if you do not mow. Or get rid of your goats, although I think at this point you'd need at least a horse wearing body armor or maybe a herd of giraffes in chainmail trousers.

Once cleared, I can think about what to put here. For some reason planning it on a map does not work very well and I can think better when I see it cleared.

We still need to find a good spot for a sunken greenhouse, root cellar and chicken coop, although this area will probably be berry bushes and orchard.

🧹 Tidying Up After Myself: Automatically Deleting Old GitHub Issues

At some point, I had to admit it: I’ve turned GitHub Issues into a glorified chart gallery. Let me explain. Over on my amedee/ansible-servers repository, I have a workflow called workflow-metrics.yml, which runs after every pipeline. It uses yykamei/github-workflows-metrics to generate beautiful charts that show how long my CI pipeline takes to run. Those charts are then posted into a GitHub Issue—one per run. It’s neat. It's visual. It's entirely unnecessary to keep them […]

3/.) And ... my #Cleanup bag also found some good use again. We collected some wrappers, parts of broken equipment,a golf tee(!) and some other plastics.

As usual, we do not pick up tissues.

Always leaving places cleaner as we found them.

Under the deal, the companies are required to fund the #cleanup of 4 former #IndustrialSites, create a remediation fund of up to $1.2 billion & set aside a reserve of $475 million to ensure that the cleanup will be completed if any of the companies go bankrupt or default.

The agreement brings #justice to “#CorporatePolluters who, for decades, have knowingly contaminated our #land & #water with #PFAS & other dangerous #chemicals,” said #NewJersey AG Matthew J. Platkin in a statement….
