#Politics When they announced #StarTrek Discovery and a bunch of other Star Trek projects, I signed up for #CBS All Access, which is now #Paramount. Since then they have squandered Star Trek, and now fired Steven Colbert to appease Donald Trump for corporate gain. I've cancelled my account. I encourage others to do the same.

In a post on his Truth Social site, #Trump cast the lawsuit as part of his efforts to punish #news outlets, including #ABC & #CBS, which both reached multimillion-dollar settlement deals with Trump after he took them to court.

“This lawsuit is filed not only on behalf of your favorite President, ME, but also in order to continue standing up for ALL Americans who will no longer tolerate the abusive wrongdoings of the Fake News Media,” he wrote.

After looking up stuff it looks like not even Paramount Global is the "real parent company" of CBS which hosts Colbert.
