A Florida jury found that flaws in Tesla’s self-driving software were partly to blame for a crash that killed a 22-year-old woman in 2019 and severely injured her boyfriend.

Florida jury on Friday found Tesla liable in the 2019 fatal crash of an Autopilot-equipped Model S, & ordered #ElonMusk's automaker to pay $329M to the family of a deceased woman & an injured survivor.

The payout includes $129M of compensatory damages & $200M of punitive damages.

Tesla was sued by the estate of Naibel Benavides Leon, & by her former boyfriend Dillon Angulo.

If #tesla #autopilot was not labled as safer than humans it would probably be out of the woods. But both basic AP and FSD is not safer than humans, as humans can adapt to a much wider range of situations. This is the game of lies, damned lies and Tesla autopilot #statistics

In basic AP there are numerous bugs, reported over and over by drivers that are still not fixed. It phantom bakes, swerves dangerously, wipers and head lights is not working appropriately.
