I tried this solution (after testing the first time the echo in #trixie using #pipewire - it really is awfull 🙊) and found the speaker and headset working when using paplay.

The echo on calls is gone also - like any audio during calls is gone.

I do not remember how to fix the #audio during calls not working nor do I remember the place where I read about it. Help would be appreciated!

Best would be if someone would add echo-cancellation to #pipewire which is default in trixie. There's a slowly growing bounty on Open Collectives for that.

I'm listening to the #audio #books of "The tower of Babel" and the author has pillaged a thesaurus for loose vocabulary, but in a good way. The prose isn't purple, it is actually pleasing.

Just odd to hear quite so many twenty five cent words used correctly, in context.

Kind of steam-punk adjacent, historical fantasy.

How would you approach painting these speakers?

The original fake wood texture is falling off. Underneath we have glazed particle board. I want to prime it and then paint it with a matte varnish.

Do I need to sand the particle board before applying undercoat? Do I need undercoat to begin with?
