Starcade
Looks like Xfinity is giving me Peacock again for free

I haven't used it since the last time it was free 🤔

When you think about it, seems like a no-brainer to give to existing cable customers so that they eventually transition to streaming. It also helps their streaming subscription numbers.

#Xfinity

Micah Ilbery :sloth_coffee:
PSA: NEVER EVER use Xfinity mobile as your cell provider! I initially switched to them when I left my job to try and save money. In fairness it was a substantial amount less than my plan at the time.

However it was absolutely not worth it! Their app is so broken It was almost impossible to see or change details, including canceling my plan and transferring out. But the worst of it was it was unreliable. I missed out on an opportunity for what was likely as close to a dream job for me because my phone didn't ring when they called to set up an interview and didn't notify me in any way that a call was missed or a voicemail was left. I basically cold called my voicemail to find out.

But by the time I figured this out they had already filled the position the day before. I am still unemployed and my financial situation isn't great. This was a dagger to the heart. Especially because it was a job I really really wanted. I didn't even get the chance to interview for it, not because the opportunity wasn't there but because my phone service was unreliable. I didn't even get to shoot my shot.

#PSA #Xfinity #Comcast

Defiance!
I got NBA League Pass as a gift and have yet to really make use of it.

One thing that sucks is that Xfinity has an app for LP, but on my X1 --> 15 year old dumb TV screen the stream is worthless. Blurry, freezes, etc.

I can cast it to my Apple TV, but I hate tying up a device just to cast to a freakin' monitor.

#nba #xfinity #comcast

We'd need to get it installed in our rental.
