I'd run screenfetch/neofetch but they have several issues preventing them from running here... still, check out the env vars for some system info (especially PROCESSOR_IDENTIFIER)!

Well, i made a complete arse of the dual booting of my #Windows10 machine with #Linux #Mint If truth be told it made an arse of me.
All sorts of booting issues due to EFI secure boot and so forth.
It simply would not run grub to allow OS choice AND no longer boot from a USB ISO image to recover the situation.
After many hours of tinkerage I eventually got a single boot with legacy booting set in the BIOS.
At three different points I thought I had bricked my laptop.
It now works like a dream.
Its happening!
#Linux #Mint is getting installed on my i5 8gb formerly #Windows10 laptop.
I have gone for a dual boot but if all goes well I may change that at some point in the future.
