🗳️ It is not the final day to have your say !

Today you can try to vote for the lesser evil, the least corrupt. The least fascist.
It is reasonable. It does not cost much and might slow down criminal policies slightly.

But it will not stop them in the long run. It will not change much.
Voting never did.

All politicians are inherently corrupt in this flawed system.
Elections are a farce, where our « choice » is in practice limited to the politicians chosen for us by the media, owned by capitalists. And once Election Day is over, the elected officials do whatever is in their interests, even if it is the opposite of what they promised. And you are supposed to accept it, even in the face of outright betrayal. You are supposed to just wait until the next election and shut up until then.

« It is the final day to have your say ! » actually means that : you are certainly not supposed to protest after the elections are over. You are supposed to obey and meekly accept the decisions made on your behalf, whatever they may be !

Elections are a false democracy, the sole purpose of which is to deceive the people into believing they already hold power, to dissuade them from revolting to take it !

The only true democracy would be a direct democracy, where the whole population would vote the laws directly, law by law, amendment by amendment, and participate in its application, instead of structurally corrupt politicians and judges. It may seem unrealistic and impossible, but it is only the case because we are conditioned to beleive that it is. Although it certainly won't be easy, we have no choice but to fight for it and achieve it, because it is the only thing that can stop the disasters that threaten us.

In the meantime, the first step is to organize and revolt.
Strikes are our best weapon right now, and coordinated mass strikes are the only thing that ever forced the capitalists and their servants to compromise on their profits and pass laws (somewhat) in the interests of the people and the working class.

Democracy starts with understanding that elections are a scam.
