Rustic wooden bench/shelves with Mexican Day of the Dead Altar articles; draped in black cloth with numerous skulls and skeletons in various materials including wooden articulated skeletons. Also, some papier mache devil masks for carnival, glass jar religious candles etc.It is positioned against a dark violet wall and a skeleton crucifix hangs above.

One of the display windows- on a terracotta coloured floor against a golden wall, sand and rocks have been spread in an irregular patch with a couple of potted Agaves and some smaller succulents made to look as if they are growing there, along with a large bare branch with twisty twigs. In the front, several pieces of Mexican ceramics have been displayed included colourful bowls and a typical green jug with unglazed base.

The incredible colors and textures of Pilot Knob and Golden Horn rising above Trout Lake provide a view to remember. This was from my first encounter in the summer of 2022.

A rugged mountain peak with a mix of gray and reddish-brown rock formations, partially covered by patches of snow. The foreground features a dense forest of evergreen trees, and the sky above is clear with a soft blue hue.

Heute beim Einkaufen bin ich an einem offenen Bücherschrank vorbei gekommen - mit einer ganzen Sammlung von Angelique Büchern.

Vor 40 Jahren habe ich die begeistert gelesen. Ich hab kurz überlegt, ob ich eines mitnehme. Aber ich glaube nicht, dass ich mir damit einen Gefallen tue oder nicht einfach nur schöne Erinnerungen ruiniere.

Vermutlich letzteres, also habe ich es gelassen.

Die junge Kollegin hält es für gefährlich, dass ich kein Telefon mit auf die Hunderunden nehme.
Hallo?! Wir haben in unserer analogen Kindheit von morgens bis abends ohne in den Wäldern gespielt, sind in alte Bunker und auf Bäume geklettert, haben Sauerampfer und Klee vom Waldboden genascht.
Aus heutiger Sicht völlig unbegreiflich, wie ich überhaupt das Erwachsenenalter erreichen konnte.

Mit Absicht verwackelte und verwischte Segel von Surfbrettern in einem Stand. Durch die Bewegung sind nur noch die Farben zu erkennen, die bis auf wenige Streifen, die orange-rot sind, alle in blauen und grünen Streifen vertikal angeordnet sind.

This image is of Hope Peak from the famous Three Sisters #Mountain range in #Canmore #Alberta. More in the alt.

Hope Peak from the infamous Three Sisters mountain range in Canmore Alberta. Heavy cloud frames the entire frame creating a frame in the bottom and sides of the peak. A small circular cloud cluster sits above the peak and the background is obscured as well isolating the peak. I wanted to capture all three peaks at sunrise, but, the heavy cloud completely obscured the other peaks, giving me only partial glances at each. As a result, Hope Peak sits alone lit by the early morning light, the only peak to fully show itself.

It took an eternity to tool and another eternity to lace. Hoping to do the Beleriand one one day !

Sammy back in August 2020.

A black cat that has managed to get himself into a tiny cardboard box. He is looking towards the camera and his front paws are leaning forward on one of the flaps.

The box is very well lit by sunlight, making the image appear a bit over-exposed but the black cat looks fine because, well, it's black.
