Implementation of the Bellman's rule "What I tell you three times is true" (from Lewis Carroll's "The Hunting of the Snark", 1876). The #Haskell code is here: snrk.de/truth-isnt-truth/

This is a great tool for fact checking.

An article, which I wrote one year ago about #LewisCarroll and #HenryHoliday's "The Hunting of the Snark": "Holiday’s References" (snrk.de/page_holidays-referenc), #KnightLetter, № 106 (archive.org/details/knightlett), Spring 2021, p. 12~13, #LCSNA (lewiscarroll.org/).

The article is about #PictorialReferences in #illustrations by the Snark #illustrator Henry Holiday to works by #MatthiasGrünewald, J.E. #Millais and #JohnMartin

#Introduction: The focus of @snark is on Henry Holiday's #illustrations (engraved by Joseph Swain) to Lewis Carroll's #tragicomedy "The Hunting of the Snark".

As this is about Henry Holiday's Snark, I (#GötzKluge) am not the artist in this instance for creators, even though sometimes I draw something. (My neighbours said that I drew my #tröte better than I tooted it.)

"Tröte" is German slang for #trumpet.

My most important Snark finding (#ReligSnark):
In his #illustration (snrk.de/snarkhunt/#561) to fit#8 of #LewisCarroll's #tragicomedy "#TheHuntingOfTheSnark" (1876), #HenryHoliday hid a pictorial reference to the print "Faiths Victorie in Romes Crueltie" (published by Thomas Jenner, c. 1630). The attached image shows
(1) the print (containing a depiction of #ThomasCranmer's burning) with a comment from a curator of the #BritishMuseum and
(2) my image comparison.
